Inspired but the success of Stic Stac Code Blocks in 2020 and recognizing the growth potential of the AR/VR retail market (projected to reach USD 11.6 billion by 2027), we co-founded Stic Stac to empower marketers and SMBs to drive brand awareness, and boost customer sales through immersive AR-powered experiences of their product offerings.
🚀 What We Built
We developed a mobile-based AR platform solution to create and animate 3D content using object, face, hand, and spatial tracking and export it as both video and XR link on browser.
🛠️ My Role
I spearheaded product design and software development, managing everything from front-end to back-end and architecting the app in ARKit and Unity Game Engine.
📈 Lessons & Insights
We built early traction, but monetization proved challenging. The overall experience provided valuable insights into the nuances of AR adoption in the Indian content creation and retail landscape.
Like many first-time founders, we encountered our share of missteps, each offering invaluable startup lessons.
